Miss Ashton Rush began dancing at the age of three at Miss Persis Studio of Dance. She has studied ballet, jazz, and tap for 15 years, pointe for 3 years, and hip hop, lyrical, modern, contemporary for 7 years. She was a member of her high school drill team at Martin High School for 3 years. She served as Officer of the Junior Varsity team her freshman year and as Junior Lieutenant of the Varsity team her junior year.

She has participated in many dance workshops and conventions through the years all over the country.

One of her most memorable experiences was attending a dance class in New York taught by an active cast member of Wicked!

Dance is such a huge part of Ashton’s life. She has been fortunate to be a part of the teaching team at the Dance Company and loves sharing her passion with the students. She plans on attending college next year and pursuing a career in dance.
