Miss Brittany Gonzales, Hip-Hop Director
We are happy to welcome Miss Brittany to The Dance Company staff.
Her dance experience includes being a member of the Martin High School Drill Team as well as a student of Jennifer Seabrooke and Megan Young at The Dance Company. She has trained in ballet, jazz, pom, kick, military, lyrical, and hip-hop and is the only former Dance Company student to be promoted to a Director position. Miss Brittany served as Assistant Squad Leader on the Martin High School Drill Team for her sophomore and junior year, and lieutenant her senior year. At the 2006 Showtime International Competition she was awarded solo runner-up. The following year she was awarded 2nd place in her duet with Taylor Newman at the HTE Competition; and 1st place duet at Showtime International. She is also an All-State Dancer and a Miss Showtime nominee. Last summer she worked as a college dance assistant for the Arlington ISD drill team camp. Miss Brittany has also been a participant in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for two years for Mike Miller and Associates. She attends Texas Christian University and plans to get her Master's degree in Accounting. When she finishes college she plans to become a CPA, while also choreographing and teaching hip-hop.
